Flight path
Day 1
Cairo - Siwa, ready for adventure! We set off early in the morning to Marsa Matruh on the Mediterranean Sea for lunch at one of its local restaurants. After lunch, we move to Siwa Oasis. Upon arrival, we go to Fatnas Island to photograph the sunset, then go for dinner and spend the night at the hotel. Meals: Lunch, Dinner.
Day 2
Local Attractions in Siwa After breakfast, we start our tour at Mount of Death. Some of the buildings here are still in use, but because they are built of salt, mud, and plaster, they fall into ruins year after year. Then, we go to the Temple of Amun and Alexander (Umm Ubaida), which dates back to the 30th Dynasty, and the Temple of the Oracle, where Alexander the Great consulted the Oracle to validate his status as the son of Zeus and thus the rightful ruler of the country. Then, we move on to Cleopatra's Spring, and enjoy lunch at the local cafeteria by the spring. Then, we go to the salt lake to enjoy its beauty and bathe in it. Then, we go downtown for a sumptuous Bedouin dinner, and then return to the hotel. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
